Camping is a wonderful and exciting way to spend your next vacation if you want to really enjoy yourself. Get the most enjoyment when you go camping trip with these fall camping ideas and tips!
First, you’re going to want to check on what the weather is going to be like before leaving for your destination. Plug in your location to your weather app, and set up alerts incase any weather changes pop up. Plus, knowing what temperatures you’re you’ll be dealing with means you can pack accordingly!
Don’t Leave home with out these… duct tape, lots of matches (you can never have too many matches), dryer link/newspaper for starting your fires, rope (becuase you never know!) and a first aid kit.
Duct tape can be used for a good bit of things. It works quickly for inflatable leaks, inflatables with leaks, worn soles on shoes, sealing mosquito nets, sealing up your mosquito netting and many, and so much more << a camping must have!
Purchase camping pillows:Regular house pillows will become damp if the weather is wet or humid. They also take moisture out of the air and that makes them grow mildew quickly. Camping pillows are covered with a coating to lock moisture out to improve your comfort level.
It is very inconvenient to forget something important like your sleeping bag or camp mat, so check and double check that they’re in the car before you leave!
Heading into the “winderness”? If you’re heading off the beaten path, there may be spiders or bears near you that could pose a threat to your safety. Every camping spot has different dangers to be aware of. A little research goes a long way.
To protect yourself and your campsite, be sure to keep all food in an air tight container secured away from your tent area. You’ll also want to get rid of your trash before you call it a night. This will keep unwanted guests out of your campsite!
Make sure your car is ready for whatever comes your way! Head to your local dealership for a once over and servicing. You never know when you make have to take refuge in your car!
