DIY Natural Wooden Teethers

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

These days it seems like all of my friends are getting pregnant or having babies by the dozen! Ok, maybe not ALL of my friends, but a bunch of them! I LOVE giving handmade gifts to these precious bundles of joy. Usually I make some sort of baby blanket… but I get tired of making the same thing all the time, I decided its time to try something new! These DIY Natural Wooden Teethers are just the ticket!

To make your own DIY Natural Wooden Teethers you’ll need

Natural wood ring.*
Baby safe ribbons.

First cut strips of ribbon approximately 12 inches long. There’s really no need to measure, a good estimate is fine.

Triple knot each piece onto the ring, then tie single knots into one side of each piece for extra texture. Trim ends to make sure they aren’t long enough for baby to wrap around their neck or limbs for safety.

Its a good idea supervise when in use and check often for any knots coming loose. I haven’t had any problems but still check to be sure! These DIY Natural Wooden Teethers are great for teething and for babies that love tags!

DIY this easier Natural Wooden Teether Ring! This makes a great shower gift!

I’m so glad I’m through the teething stage with my kids, but I have lots of friends with babies who will be able to use this great idea!

Really cute and so simple, and makes just a cute little toy for a young baby to grasp. Thanks for sharing on craft schooling Sunday!
