So I’ve been trying to get better at eating breakfast. You know something more than just 3 cups of coffee in the morning. I’m usually up and working within 30 minutes… and I don’t stop until its time for bed! The mornings I make the effort to eat something healthy and full of protein usually end up being most productive days! That is pretty much reason enough to get some yummy food in my belly in the am! I’ve found the best way to make eating breakfast an easy endeavor is to keep it simple! Like these easy and delicious Cherry and Almond Overnight Oats!

In large bowl, mix all the ingredients except the ZonePerfect bar. Stir until well blended.

Pour mixture into mason jars and cover. (Makes enough for 2 jars, 3/4’s full)

Refrigerate overnight.

Sprinkle half of the ZonePerfect bar on top of the cherry and almond overnight oats. Add a few almonds if desired.

Enjoy!

I’m so nervous about trying overnight oats lol. I’m kinda worried I won’t like the cold oats, but this looks so yummy and it’s such a perfect way to make yourself eat breakfast.

I love making overnight oats because my kids love this for breakfast. Adding a protein bar is something I haven’t tried, yet. It looks yummy and I’m sure my kiddos would love the added crunch.

I am awful at remembering to eat breakfast! These sound like they would be perfect to make up for breakfast the night before. I am always so rushed for time so planning a head like this could help out a lot.

I need to do this. I’m bookmarking it. Since starting work again it’s difficult to get a good breakfast and I can’t eat cereal and instant oatmeal every day. I love that the bars are gluten free too.

Recipes like these are literally my favorite!!! Such a great idea to liven/fancy things up with the cherry almond granola bar, and I LOVE your addition of almond extract to kick that flavor up more. Almond and jasmine extracts are two of my sweet-food flavorings! I’m definitely going to be making this – thank you for a beautiful, delicious, healthy recipe!
