Better than *Crack* Brownies!

I think that this is the best brownie recipe that I’ve ever tried. Now… I didn’t name them… but I am inclined to agree. They are addicting!

I made these bits of deliciousness for the #Adoption Rocks 5k run and bake sale… they sold like hot cakes!

I honestly wish I could say that I came up with this recipe, but I didn’t 🙁 I found it on Pinterest! Oh how I love pinterest! The recipe comes from How Sweet It Is. They’re not hard to make which makes them that much more “dangerous”! But they do require more time that you’d expect, so plan accordingly.

1 batch brownies (I uses Ghirardelli’s double chocolate mix)

1/2 cup salted peanuts (if don’t have salted, add sea salt)

1 cup chopped peanut butter cups (Wal-Mart’s brand works well)

1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (Ghirardelli again)

1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 tablespoon butter

1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Mix brownies according to directions, and bake for 20-25 minutes in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Remove and top with peanuts and chopped peanut butter cups, and bake for 4-6 minutes more.

While they are finishing baking, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Stir in cereal. Remove brownies from oven and evenly pour chocolate mixture over top.

Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. (This is very important)

Slice them up and enjoy!

I would just like to comment on the name of this. My son has dealt w/ a drug addiction for several years. I know most people do not think a thing about making lite of addictions. Just saying that it is a terrible thing for people who have addictions. I do not mean to be ugly to your site. I know you did not name it. Please think about it and what it might mean to some people.Blessings
