Beautiful Fall Travel Spots in the United States

The Fall season is one of my favorite times of the year to travel. Across the United States it is so amazing to see the differences in what the Fall season looks like. Whether you see leaves changing colors and falling from the trees or maybe you just experience the crisp Fall air in busy cities, it is a phenomenal experience. In my personal opinion, the weather in the Fall is the best year round, you get the cool breezes cold enough for a nice sweater and boots but you don’t have to worry about it being so cold that you have to bundle up.
Today I am going to be sharing with you a few of the most beautiful Fall Travel Spots in the United States.
1. Katy Trail, Missouri – If you like the great outdoors, Katy Trail is a great spot for you to visit. It is a 225 mile long trail that runs along the Missouri River. You can walk part of the trail, drive along it, or even bike and enjoy the beautiful trees and scenery around you. As all of the leaves are changing and falling around you it is a breathtaking sight. They also have a beautiful Wine Country in which you can do wine tastings and tours. This would make for a Romantic Fall getaway.
2. Boston, Massachusetts – Boston is the definition of a crisp, refreshing city environment during the Fall season. There is so much to do and so much to see in Boston and the Fall is a great time to do it. The city is filled with history and there is so much to do. You can take a stroll along the Freedom Trail or maybe see a New England Patriots game after all, the Fall is Football Season!
3. Lake Tahoe – Lake Tahoe is absolutely stunning no matter what time of the year that you go however the Fall holds a special place to me. Lake Tahoe is known as one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the United States, how can you not want to see this beautiful body of water? You can enjoy the scenery and nature around you by taking gondola rides, hot air balloon rides, or even a scenic cruise.
4. Charleston, South Carolina – Charleston is a great place to cater to the Halloween lover in you. Charleston is filled with historic mansions and cemeteries that are so interesting to see and adding in the Fall element makes it feel a little more fun or spooky. The trees and nature in Charleston are truly gorgeous and I would highly recommend seeing it during the Fall season.
5. New York City – If you have never seen the city of New York the Fall season is the perfect time to do so. The rustle and bustle of the city is so exciting and seeing the beautiful Fall colors and scenery around you makes the experience that much better. Trust me, there is nothing quite like seeing Central Park in the Fall. This one is a can’t miss spot for Fall travel. If you are planning to travel with your teen, GetYourGuide has some great inspiration to help you plan your trip.
The Fall season is the perfect time of the year to travel or take a road trip, and these are just a few of the many beautiful spots to see! If you are looking to take a nice trip with your significant other or maybe even a family trip I would highly suggest that you check out one of these destinations. So pack your pags, take the car in for a once over at your local dealership and hit the road!
Happy Fall Ya’ll!
