The River Region has always been a great place to celebrate culture. There have always been ton of foodies, adventurers, and athletes combing the region. You can walk the River Region to experience the culture or you can enjoy a golf tournament. It’s hard to run out of things to do in this region of Augusta.

My family loves to spend outdoors, so this is a no brainer when it comes to Augusta, Georgia. In fact, we would have time narrowing down what exactly we are doing. The Augusta Riverwalk is beautiful for an evening walk, you could attend an Augusta Greenjackets game. Are you into being more athletic? Make sure you check out the Savannah Rapids Pavilion. You can do everything from kayaking to canoeing here. It’s a neat place to explore and enjoy.
Free Things to Do
You had me at free things to do. When it comes to visiting any new city, free things to do are always welcome. There is a beautiful park called Evans Towne Center Park, many visitors like to go here and have fun exploring. There is a playground, splash pad, and even a dog park.
