As I mentioned yesterday,I’ve been incredibly busy the past few days. I completed a couple projects yesterday and then while I was laying in bed last night trying to sleep I had an idea. So I got up, put on some coffee and went to work. Two hours later I had a “prototype” 🙂

Have you ever seen “Tag Rag’s” for babies? This is a stuffie version. I made a couple “Tag Rag’s “ too

These are easy to make and great for using up scraps and bits of ribbon. I’m going to adding some of these to my etsy shop.

The biggest thing I’ve been working on is a baby quilt for a friend who is expecting a little girl at the end of the month.

This is the first quilt I’ve made that isn’t a Rag quilt. The biggest thing I learned is to bind the layers together and THEN sew the edges closed/add the binding. It’s a little puckered in the middle, but not enough that you really notice.

I also got busy with some more jewelry on wednesday while I chilled with the Mister.

They are wire wrapped cuff bracelets. I saw something similar while I was browsing around etsy and thought I’d try to make something similar. I really like how they turned out.

I also purchased an eight foot folding table yesterday. Mule was tired of having to clear off the kitchen table all the time, so I now have a permanent work space all of my own. Most of today was spent organizing. I’ve pretty much taken over the “Den” hehe. Its not pretty enough to show you yet. The whole house needs a makeover. All I’ll say is Wood Paneling **Shudder** Someday soon there will be much ado about painting, but until then I research, price, budget and dream about how things will look in the (not so distant??) Future.

So that’s what I’ve been up to. Mule works this weekend (Booooo!) so I’ll stay busy in my new craft area.
