Summer time in Texas is HOT! And even though we’ve been blessed with lots of rain this year (hallelujah!) the humidity can be a little bit much. What better way to beat the heat than to #ShareItForward with an Ice Cold Homemade Coconut Ice Cocoa Cola Float and a nice long chat with your sisters? 🙂

Homemade Coconut Ice Cream Floats from BusyBeingJennifer.com #shareitforward #shop #homemadeicecream #recipe

I’ve always thought that Coke® and coconut go perfectly together and I love making my own ice cream, so I put the two together, shared the recipe with my sisters and schedule a skype chat so we could all hang out! It doesn’t hurt that this ice cream recipe is pretty easy to make -> 5 minutes in the blender and then right into the ice cream maker… and you’re good to go!

#Shareitforward with Homemade Coconut Ice Cream Floats - BusyBeingJennifer.com #shop #recipe

Let me tell ya, this ice cream recipe turned out better than I expected… I might have had 3 or 4 floats over the weekend and had to make a second batch of ice cream already!

Grab a Coke at the check out of your local Walmart! - BusyBeingJennifer.com

2 Liter bottles bottles of Coca Cola don’t exactly fit in my fridge and with just me in the house most of the time, they usually go flat before I can drink it all! So I like to grab some of the 20 oz bottles on my way out of Walmart.

Hanging out with my sisters and sharing a Coke Float - BusyBeingJennifer.com #ShareitForward #Shop #homemadeicecreamIts been far too long since I’ve had a chance to chat with my sisters. The distance between us can be quite annoying at times, but thanks to technology, we can catch up every now and then! And when its over a nice cold bottle of Coca Cola or a float, the time just flies!

On July 6th there will be a Nationwide Share a Coke Event at Walmart stores. This is where people can bring their families and friends and enjoy the sharing of a  Coke®. This event is all about coming together and sharing a moment, and a Coke of course!

Who would you love to share a Coke® with this summer?

That owl mug is adorable. My husband would love one of those floats, but I can't get my daughter to even give them a try.

These look so good! I've never tried coconut flavoring with coke before, but I bet it would be amazing! I should make these with my own sisters. Maybe on July 6th. 🙂
