Its that time of the year! Time to bust out all the patriotic decor and make some colorful treats! This Red White and Blue Fudge is a tasty treat that is perfect for your picnic, BBQ’s or bonfire celebrations!
Y’all know I have a bit of a sweet tooth AND like to keep things as simple as possible in the kitchen (LESS DISHES FOR THE WIN!) With only 6 ingredients, this tasty fudge recipe whips up pretty quickly!
Red White and Blue Fudge Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
5 oz evaporated milk
2 cups marshmallow creme
8 oz white chocolate chips
red and blue food coloring
Red White and Blue Fudge Instructions:
Prepare your pan. If you are using a traditional glass baking dish, line it with a piece of parchment paper. I used a silicone mold and lightly sprayed it with non-stick spray (just to be safe!) The fudge popped right out!
In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and evaporated milk.
Cook over medium, stirring frequently.
Once it begins to boil, stir for about 5 minutes.
Add in your marshmallow creme and the white chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
This will set fast, so work quickly. If needed, simply reheat!
Divide the mixture into 3 bowls. Tint one red, one blue and keep one white.
Pour the red mixture into the dish followed by the white and finished with the blue.
If you want, you can use a knife to swirl the colors around or for a layered look keep the fudge as is.
Let the fudge cool completely before cutting. Refridgerate any leftovers for up to 7 days.
This Red White and Blue Fudge is practically garunteed to be a hit! But don’t take my word for it… Whip up a batch for yourself and enjoy! Or you could be nice and share with some friends and family 😉
