My front door has been nekkid for far too long! Yesterday I fixed that with this quick, fun and colorful wreath! The best part is you probably already have what you need to make your own on hand…. a little burlap, a little lace and some fun buttons 🙂

Burlap Lace and Buttons Wreath -

The process for this wreath is pretty simple. Wrap your wreath form in burlap, and then in the lace trim. I used cream and gold bakers twine to string my buttons on to give it just a little sparkle. Once your buttons are ready to go, wrap them around the wreath in the same direction as the lace trim. Tie off the twine at the back and trim the access off. Add a bow for a little extra pizzazz 🙂

The more variety in the buttons the better! I got most of these in a package from walmart ages ago to use for coffee cozies. The bright colors were perfect for what I had in mind.

Spring Wreath with Burlap, Buttons and lace -

I could easily change this up for fall with orange, brown, mustard, deep red and gold buttons. I could even add some paper flowers to update this in a few weeks … I get bored easily. Having the same thing on my door for weeks on end just doesn’t work for me 🙂

Do you like wreaths on your door? How often do you change it up?

That is so clever to string the buttons, I would have been trying to glue them on or something harder and messier.
