I’m so excited that the 4th of July is just a few days away! I don’t know how we’re celebrating this year, but I know it will be fun! In the mean time, I’ve figured out what I’ll be wearing… actually I finished making what I’ll be wearing! I’m so excited to be rocking this DIY USA Bleach Tee this 4th of July!
A little bleach, some stickers and a basic tee all combine to finish in one awesome bleach tee! And it doesn’t take as long as you’d think either!
To make your own Bleach Tee you’ll need:
Basic Tee in any color.
Shape cut out – I used pre-cut letters, but you could use any shape in almost any size!
Glue Stick (regular school glue is perfect)
Bleach
Spray Bottle
Cardboard
Ruler
Directions:
Mix 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water in your spray bottle.
Pull out the letters you plan on using. Gauge your spacing and placement using the ruler.
Carefully add a thick layer of glue to the back of your letters. Place the letters on your shirt and press firmly. ( I placed a book on top of the letters for about 10 minutes to ensure a good seal. )
Place the cardboard between the layers of your shirt and move to a well ventilated area.
Layer your shirt flat with the cardboard in the middle and spray your your shirt with the bleach/water mix. Give it a good spraying and then wait a few minutes. Spray a few more times.
Once you’re happy with the way the bleach is effecting the color of the tee, carefully remove the cardboard and peel back the letters.
Wash in a cold cycle immediately. Dry normally.
And just like that you have a completely unique and fun bleach tee!! These tees are so easy to make you whip them up for whatever the occasion!
What are your 4th of July plans?

I’m dropping by from the Dream Create Inspire link party. This is such a fun idea. In fact, you could have any word or design for your t-shirt. I’ve pinned this so that I can remember to do this!!
