Have you ever started a project, with the intention of documenting it to share, only to get so into the process and excited about how it was turning out that you completely forgot to take photos of the steps? I did that TWICE this week! I created a really cute make up bag and this Red, White and Blue Quilted Tote bag, but forgot to take pictures along the way! Opps!!!
I’m so happy with the way my quilted tote bag turned out. So happy in fact that I have absolutely no problem making another one in a week or two so I can share a tutorial with you! In the mean time, you can drool over this pretty red, white and blue thing and imagine that there is a whole tutorial with lots of words… *wink*
When I showed my MIL this tote, she was quite enamored with it… I’m thinking I might tuck it aside and give it to her for Christmas… Maybe. I’m kind of in love with it too!
One of my favorite parts of this tote is the fabric I used for the back. I’m slightly obsessed with herringbone, and when I found this red, white and blue herringbone print at walmart I totally squealed!
Isn’t it perfect? I had a lot of fun putting this quilted tote bag together! And I’m already brainstorming the color and fabric patterns I might use in my next one!
I’ll be sure to let you know when I’ve got the tutorial finished and link it here as well!
