Simply Sweet: Low Calorie Strawberry Dessert and a Picnic with Myself

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

Low Cal Strawberry dessert

Some times I crave something simple, sweet and easy. This Simply Sweet Strawberry Dessert is kinds of hard to beat. At 120 calories its diet friendly too! Now I can’t exactly call this a recipe, since I didn’t do anything but layer the already made ingredients, but who cares when it fits into my diet plan and tastes good!

Low cal dessert

Slice up your strawberries and add some stevia, if you’re so inclined. 1/2 cup is 25 calories
Put them in the dessert shell (I get mine at “WallyWorld”). 1 shell is 80 calories
Add a little low-fat whipped topping. 2 tablespoons are 15 calories

Then grab your favorite quilt and head outside for a little “Me Time”

my beautiful backyard

Make sure you’ve got a great view…

This is Pride. I wish she was mineThe view on my picnic by myselfAnd friendly “Neighbors”!

It was so nice and relaxing to take a break outside and just soak up some sunshine. A little sweet dessert didn’t hurt and the company was pretty nice too. I just wish I could call that darling horse mine. Her name is Pride and she belongs to my neighbor. I still sneak her an apple or 2 every once in a while. I’m looking forward to spending a lot more time outside now that the cold weather *fingers crossed* is gone!

What is your favorite way to get some Me Time?

What a cute neighbor!! My favorite Me time is curled up on my couch with a good book, blanket, and a Starbucks.
