Here’s something you probably didn’t know about me… I used to be a retail clothing manager and I loved it! I loved everything about it, well except the paper work., but it was a fabulous job! I loved the clothes, my staff, the people I got to help and staying up to date on the latest fashion and trends. A lot has change in the past 5 years… including my wardrobe. Now a days there is not a whole lot of fashion going on 🙁
I have a closet full of cute clothes… but I rarely wear them. I pretty much live in yoga pants and tank tops, especially during the HOT Texas summer months. But I MISS clothes! Like seriously, I’m always drooling over cute outfits on pinterest, or in the magazines, or the dozens of company look books I get. *Sigh* Why have I not yet won the lottery? Better yet, why do I live somewhere that is so HOT, that its impossible to look cute? Ugh.
So today I am dreaming… dreaming of living in a cooler climate, dreaming of fabulous clothes that flatter me and clothes that make me magically look thinner… want to dream with me?

For the rest of the week I am challenging myself to put on REAL CLOTHES! Well at least something other than yoga pants 🙂 What is your favorite summer trend?
I am loving teal right now! I saw a 'pin' the other day that said I wished all the clothes I pinned would magically appear in my closet! THAT would be fantastic. 🙂
I love cute sandals – it's hard to find them, though, that don't kill my feet!!

I love all of the color!
I am really enjoying the mint and coral colors this year – but not in pants. I just can't get into colored leggings or jeans. I hear you about the clothing store work history….I worked part time at both CJ Banks, and Chicos for several years….and I loved learning about the clothes and how to put them together….my own wardrobe, though, is pretty bland. My husband also said my stints in those stores seriously ruined his ability to purchase clothes for me….my style definitely changed!
