The Fall season brings on so much to do whether it be the pumpkin patch, prepping for Halloween, making apple cider with your loved ones and enjoying the season. All across the country there are so many Fall themed festivals that happen in various states and at various times throughout the Fall season. Today we will be exploring what some of those fun and awesome Fall festivals that you can find around you in the United States.

1. Pirate Fest – Tybee Island, Georgia: Every year on Tybee Island which is just east of Savannah, Georgia there is a Pirate Fest. The Island gets completely transformed into a pirate village and it is just a big party of pirate fun.

2. New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival: The annual weekend festival is located in Laconia, New Hampshire and it is a great time for people of all ages. The festival has everything from a beer garden, fun family friendly activities, live music, and of course the reason that it is called the pumpkin festival is because of the famous Jack-O-Lantern tower that is filled with tons of pumpkins with various Jack-O-Lantern faces.

3. Circleville Pumpkin Show: This pumpkin parade is located in Circleville and it is a great way to spend the day whether it is just you and some friends or if you bring the kids along as well. It is a parade of the best pumpkins in town and you can expect to get all of the delicious Fall treats like pumpkin pie, pumpkin breads, and rice krispie treats! This festival is the epitome of Fall!

4. Adirondack Balloon Festival: This one is located in Glen Falls, New York and whether you choose to participate or just watch from below it is a truly amazing experience. There are hot air balloons of all colors and it is an awesome sight to see as they all float across the sky. You can take the experience of riding in a hot air balloon or you can just watch the scenery from the streets and it is truly amazing.

5. Scarecrow Festival: The Scarecrow Festival is located in St. Charles, Illinois and this one is great for a fun family experience. This festival is filled with music, a craft show, and even a petting zoo for the kids! The whole point of the festival is because people and families all around create their very own handmade scarecrows and the visitors of the festivals all get to vote on which one they like best! This one is really fun and highly recommended.

6. Festival of Turning Leaves: This festival can be found in Indiana and it is a great Fall experience. You can enjoy the leaves changing and the bright and beautiful Fall colors of the season around you. The festival is perfect for a day of family fun! You can participate in the Cornhole tournament or see the historic classic cars in the car show at the festival.

These are just a few of some of the coolest Fall Festivals in the United States in my opinion and they’re totally worth a roadtrip! There are hundreds upon hundreds of Fall festivals that occur all across the country so there is no way to name them all, but they’re a great way to make some fun memories! If you are looking for something cool to check out, I highly recommend you pack your bags, get the car serviced at your local dealership, load up and then hit the road to check some of these out!
What are some of your favorite local Fall festivals in or around your city?
