Sometimes a girl just needs a little extra something, ya know? Down here in the south, the girls are all about the hair lace front wigs bow… the bigger, the better! I love making my own accessories and decided to creating some crocheted hair bows for myself!
Supplies:
Size 8 mm / L crochet hook
2 colors of yarn – I used baby pink and heather grey from Red Heart
Scissors
Yarn darning needle
Alligator hair clip
Hot glue gun & glue
Crocheted Hair Bows Pattern:
Foundation Single Crochet 22. Chain 1 and turn.
Single Crochet across. Chain 1 and Turn. Repeat for 7 Rows.
Slip stitch along the front edge (both sides as shown) in the contrasting colored yarn.
Whip stitch the ends together and tuck in the yarn tails.
Center the whip stitched seam. Pinch together and tightly wrap the center with the contrast colored yarn until you’re satisfied with the look.
Take the alligator clip and carefully wiggle the top of the alligator clip under the wrapped center. Carefully use hot glue to secure the clip.
If you’ve already mastered foundation single crochet and single crochet, then this crocheted hair bow pattern will be a breeze for you to whip up! This is also a great project for beginners that need something quick and easy! No matter what your level of crochet experience, I know your crocheted hair bows will turn out adorable!
