I have a slight obsession with magnets. I love making new ones! But they have to be strong, able to hold all kinds of papers securely and look cute at the same time! My latest letter magnet creation fits my requirements perfectly!
This project is pretty easy and only requires a little paint, a few magnets and a wooden letter of your choice!
Black Chalk paint
Metallic Copper Paint
Magnets
Wooden Letter S
Using the Black Chalk Paint, cover the entire wooden letter. Allow to dry completely. Using the Copper paint, brush the sides and edges, apply as desired. I use a sort of “dry prush” technique and it worked out great! Allow to dry again and if so desired use a little sandpaper to roughen up the edges. Add your magnets and VOILA! You’ve got a super cute over sized letter magnet for your fridge!
This is such an easy project and would make a great housewarming or newlywed gift! I mean, come on! Who doesn’t love a fun magnet that’s personalized just for them?
What do you think? Do you need an Big Letter Magnet for your fridge?
