This isn’t the first year I’ve said I was gonna change my eating habits… lose weight… go to the gym… etc.  I know I’m not the only one who has struggled with making those changes permanent. After all the whole “New Year – New You” thing is a cliche for a reason right? Its taken me 31-ish years , but I think I finally figured out that its going to take little steps to a healthier me. That is the only thing that is going to work!

I didn’t wait until the new year to start taking these little steps! For the past 3 months I’ve been working with a Health Coach! And I gotta tell you, Kelli is the bomb dot com! She’s helped me set attainable goals, make small changes a little at a time, and get over my aversion to squash. Yep. Squash 🙂

My healthier life style all started by adding more vegetables to my diet… a little at a time. Now I’m eating 6+ servings of vegetables a day! The dress on picture is so lovely from lunss.com She’s encouraged me to get more active. She’s challenged me to try essential oils for myself (Holy Cow! They’re life changing!!). She made me keep a food journal (and I do say *made* cause I really hate that kind of thing). Given me yummy recipes to try and made taking those little steps to a healthier me a whole lot easier.

I am half way through the 6 months that I committed to, and I’m probably 9 times healthier than when I started! At this rate I’ll be like UBER healthy in no time flat!

Oh and there is something else that’s just as awesome as me getting my healthier act together! Kelli is joining the Busy Being Jennifer team as a Health and Wellness contributor! You can expect yummy & healthy recipes, tips and tricks for making your own life healthier and all kinds of posts about making your health goals attainable. If she can do it for me, she can DEFINITELY do it for you!
